Although very loved, I came from a remote community where my safety could not be promised.

Energy Level: High! But I stll love to snuggle.
Size (adult): Itty bitty puppy committee. I am currently about 5 lb. 8-11 lb best guess for adult

I am currently fostered with other dogs and we get along well.
Good with Cats? Yes
I get along well with the cats in my foster home.
Good with Kids? Yes
It is important that any children respect my boundaries and not over handle me.

Hi hi hi hi! I’m Arnold (after the very small Arnold Schwarzenegger). I am a little spunky chi who loves to play play play! I am still a young buck so I am learning new things every day and it’s all very exciting. I enjoy playing with my dog and cat friends but I also thoroughly enjoy just doing my own thing with a good squeaky toy by throwing it up in the air. I have big bursts of play energy and just as fast I crash and just want to snuggle up and relax. I really like being close to people and will sleep on your lap or near you on the couch. Snuggles4Life. I will give you lots of love and soft kisses and when I am excited I do tippity taps with my paws!
About my Behaviour:
I am a very well behaved boy who is learning quickly all the basic commands. Chihuahuas tend to be very friendly and snuggly with their people and that is certainly me, but sometimes if you over handle me and don’t respect my boundaries I can get a little spicy and give some little growls or warning nibbles. It is important that you understand my body language and respect my space when I am sleepy (If I am over-handled when I am sleepy, that is when I am the most unhappy). Imagine someone waking you up from a great nap! Otherwise I am a great boy who just wants a forever family to love me! I have met lots of different kinds of people and I am very social with all people and pets!
Puppy classes are not necessary, however two in home training session (approx $180 total) will need to be booked with one of our amazing partner trainers to help everyone adapt to any changes and guide my family with any training and future needs.
How’s my Health?
I have my first round of shots and will be getting my boosters soon. As I am still so itty bitty, I haven’t been neutered yet but I will be soon!
I am eating well and am a very healthy boy.
