Astra Guiding Stars | Female | Mixed Breed |
Rescue Story:
My mama was brought to Zoe's when she was very pregnant, so my siblings and I were lucky to be born in a warm, safe home. Now we are grown enough to start finding families to call our own.
Date of Birth: April 12, 2026 (est)
Energy Level: High- I'm a puppy after all!
Size (adult): medium-large
Adoption Fee: $450 but can you really put a price on this cuteness?
Good with Dogs? Yes
With proper introductions I would do just fine.
Good with Cats? Yes
I'm still little so it's important I learn good manners when meeting my feline friends.
Good with Kids? Yes
I'm still a mouthy puppy, but with proper supervision I will be ok.
Critter Twitter:
Hi, I'm Astra, and I'm a puppy with enough energy and personality to keep life exciting every single day! I love to play, especially if tug toys are involved, and I'm always ready to turn just about anything into a game. One of my favourite hobbies is hiding, quietly stalking my target, and then launching a surprise puppy "attack" before zooming away to do it all over again. I like to keep everyone laughing with my silly antics and playful imagination. I'm always up for an adventure, whether we're exploring outside, playing in the yard, or learning something new together. Even though I love to have fun, I also know when it's time to slow down. After a busy day of playing, I'm happy to curl up, relax, and enjoy a quiet evening with my people. I have a great off-switch and settle in beautifully once the day's excitement is over. I'm looking for a family who wants an active, happy companion that's just as content to snuggle after a day of adventures. If you're ready for a lifetime of laughter, games, and unconditional love, I can't wait to meet you!
About my Behaviour:
I am doing great with house training. I'm a quick learner and already making great progress with recall, sit and stay. At night, she settles well and sleeps quietly in her crate. During the day, she prefers to sleep under a chair or on her bed rather than in her crate, but she is working on it. As a condition of adoption, we must register for a force free, in-person, group training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! Please check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!
How’s my Health?
I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Zoe's cannot guarantee what breeds are in me or my size as an adult.
