Critter Twitter:

Hi everyone, I want to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself. My name is Blue Sky. I am a sweet, spunky girl who loves to have fun. I enjoy playing with my foster sisters, going for walks, chewing on a good chew and playing with toys. I enjoy playing tug and playing fetch, I just haven’t learned to bring back the ball to you yet. I love people of all sizes. I will sometimes give a full body wag when I see someone I know. When it is time to relax, I enjoy a good snuggle beside you while I work on my chew while you watch your favourite show or read a good book. I might not be able to run marathons or hike mountains but if you enjoy casual walks through the many parks around, I might just be the gal for you. I do so enjoy my sniffaris! If I sound like the dog, you have been waiting for, please put in an application for me, I can’t wait to meet you!

About my Behaviour:

I am working hard on learning where to go the bathroom and I am almost there. I am learning how to walk on a leash. I bark when I see other dogs, but I am pretty easily redirected, otherwise my leash skills are pretty good. I gets really excited when playing with other dogs and I can play a little too rough sometimes. I do well with tolerant, patient dogs who have the same play style as me, which is to wrestle . I do love being around my people and hope my new family doesn’t work long hours as I really miss them when they are gone too long.

As a condition of adoption, we must register in a force free training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! Please check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!

How’s my Health?

I had a rough start to my life. I came to Zoe’s with a broken leg, and nobody knows how long I had it, but it feels like it was forever. Then I had to wear a cast for 4 weeks, that wasn’t fun but at least my leg didn’t hurt so bad anymore. I still have a bit of limp and weak paw but hopefully with time, that will strengthen up. I am spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on my vaccines.
