Rescue Story:
I was orginally rescued by Zoe's as a tiny puppy and was adopted out. Unfortunately my adopter had to move suddenly and was heartbroken that they couldn't bring me. Now I'm back looking for another chance.
Date of Birth: May 7, 2025
Energy Level: High - I'm a puppy afterall!
Size (adult): Large (currently about 50lbs)

Good with Dogs? Must have a dog Friend
I do need slow intros but after that I'm ready to play, play, and play some more!
Good with Cats? Maybe
I love cats, maybe a little too much, but I would be fine with dog savvy cats.
Good with Kids? Maybe
With proper introductions and respectful playing, I should be fine with kids but I haven't lived with any.

Hi! My name is Shadow! I’m a 6-month-old bundle of love who’s always ready to play, wrestle, and make new friends! I adore cuddles and will shower you with kisses any chance I get. I’m happiest when I have someone to play and nap with and would love a doggy friend in my new home. Car rides with the windows down are one of my favorite things — the wind in my fur makes me so happy! When the day is done, I love snuggling under my foster mom’s legs and drifting off to sleep. I can’t wait to find my forever family who will love me, play with me, and never let me feel alone.
About my Behaviour:
I am doing well with house training but I'm still working on telling my people when I have to go. I haven't been crate trained yet. I do have separation anxiety and am working on that with my fosters. I'm looking for an adopter who isn't gone for long hours and has another dog to keep me company when you do have to go out. I do have some leash reactivity when seeing other dogs on walks, I just get so excited. As a condition of adoption, we must register for a force free, in-person, group training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! How’s my Health?
I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Zoe's cannot guarantee what breeds are in me or my size as an adult.
