Critter Twitter:

Hello humans, I'm Farley! I am a sweet little guy. I will follow you like a shadow, cuddle you all day long and roll over for belly rubs as often as you’ll give them. I love playing tug-of-war and fetch or just running around with dog friends. I also really like the water. I play very well with my current foster brother and even take turns when sharing a fetch toy. But all I really want is to be with you and show you love – this is because I was trained as a comfort dog. If I sound like your match made in heaven then apply below!

About my Behaviour:

I am house trained and will go in a crate if needed but it's not my favourite. I am the bestest boy and have adjusted well in my foster home. I come when called and I will sit and stay. I love human food, so don’t leave it anywhere I can reach. And boy, can I jump, so if you want to keep me out of a space you’ll either need high pens/gates or to close doors. I love going for walks. The problem is that I’m so excited I pull a lot, so I’ll need to learn to be better behaved on a leash. And, talking of excitement, if I see another dog, I will jump around and bark because I'm so excited to make a new friend. As soon as I’ve said hello, I’m fine. But this is something my new owners will want to work on. To ensure we get off on the right paw, my adopters will be required to sign up for force-free training. You can find a list of great trainers at www.albertaforcefreealliance.com.

How’s my Health?

I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations. I’m generally very healthy and have lots of energy for an eight-year-old. When I came to Zoe’s, I had ear infections, but they are all cleared up now. I do have silly ears that will need regular cleaning to make sure they don’t get more infections, but I’m very good about letting my foster parents clean my ears. I was patient when I had to have drops in them and I think pills are treats!
