Rescue Story:
I came to Zoe's to find my furever home.
Date of Birth: I'm around 4 or 5 years old
Energy Level: Low - I may be big but I am a chill dog.
Size (adult): XL - 53 kg

I have an on and off kind of love affair with other dogs. With proper introductions I should be fine but it might take me a little while to warm up to new dogs.
Good with Cats? No
Good with Kids? Yes
Older kids are best for me as I am pretty big!

Even though I can be selective about who I want to be a doggie pal I haven't met a person I didn't love! I'm pretty much a big, cuddly love bug and can never have enough attention and cuddles. I like to lean on you while you pet me so make sure you brace yourself!
I'm a bit of a goof and love to run around the backyard but after a little exercise there's nothing I like better than a big long nap unless it's cuddles and belly rubs!
I am always excited to see you after a hard day of lounging at the window and promise to always great you with a doggie smile 🙂
About my Behaviour:
My foster family are working with me on not pulling while walking on leash and on how to stay calm when I meet other dogs on a walk, I can be a little reactive.
How’s my Health?
I lost an eye from an injury and tend to get a little stiff from other old injuries so I take gabapentin and have regular chiropractic treatments to keep my joints as supple as they can be.
I once got attacked by a porcupine and some of those quills have lingered under my skin and have the potential to pop up every now and then.
