Magic Mushroom | Female | Fluffy Calico (DLH) |
Rescue Story:
I was adopted out with my siblings but unfortunately our owner couldn't keep us all. My bro Enoki and I came back to Zoe's to find our forever home.
Date of Birth: April 14, 2025 (est)
Energy Level: High
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee: $275 for my sibling and I.
Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met any, given my shyness likely no to any dogs with prey drive or bouncy in your face type dogs. Calm, low energy dogs who ignore me, I might be ok with.
Good with Cats? Bonded Pair
I must be adopted with Enoki.
Good with Kids? Maybe
Older kids only that are shy cat savy.
Critter Twitter:
I'm a quiet, tender-hearted girl with a soft presence that makes a house feel like home. I might be shy at first, but once you get to know me, I become an incredibly loving and loyal companion – the kind of cat who doesn’t need to be the center of attention, just close to my person. I love relaxing evenings and will happily curl up on your lap while you watch TV or read a book. I'm low-energy overall, but I do have a playful side – especially when it comes to fetch! Toss my favorite toy mouse and I’ll proudly bring it back again and again until you get tired before I do. #lovebug #shybutsweet
About my Behaviour:
I took a little time to settle into my foster home, but now I’ve confidently claimed my space and routines. I share a very close bond with my brother Enoki, and the two of us must be adopted together. We keep each other company and are comfortable being left alone for longer periods because we have one another for entertainment and comfort. I’m the perfect match for a peaceful home looking for a gentle, affectionate companion (or rather, two of them!). Once I choose you as my person, I’ll be your little shadow — always nearby, always loving.
With children, I prefer a calm, respectful approach. I’ll keep a safe distance at first, but gentle, quiet kids who move slowly can earn my trust — and eventually some pets. My foster family isn’t sure how I would do with other cats (just had my siblings) or dogs. I was scared of the foster dogs in my last home, so likely a no to dogs.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vetted. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.
