Magic Mushroom | Female | Fluffy Calico (DLH) |
Rescue Story:
I was surrendered to Zoe's with all my siblings to find a forever home.
Date of Birth: April 14, 2025 (est)
Energy Level: High
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee: $220 for me or $350 for me and a 2nd kitten.
Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
If they don't have prey drive, and are cat friendly, I may be ok. Only if they ignore me though.
Good with Cats? Must have a cat friend
I must have a young confident kitty in my forever home, to help me gain confidence.
Good with Kids? Maybe
Older kids only that are shy cat savy.
Critter Twitter:
I am one stunning calico who is shy initially, but I do settle in with time. I love to observe first rather than run into the fray, so to speak. I am more independent, but as I get older and more comfortable, I will likely be quite the affectionate girl. I will happily purr when being petted, and I can't wait to find my forever home. #shybutsweet
About my Behaviour:
I must be adopted to a home with another kitten or a very young cat-friendly cat buddy for me to play with. I love to play with other kitties, and older cats won't match my energy for many years to come. A confident kitty buddy would really help me come out of my shell. I could easily be adopted with Portobello or with another confident kitten.
I might be fine with dogs who are very cat-friendly and will ignore me. I am quite intimidated by the 105lb resident dog, but if the dog would leave me alone, I likely would be fine. Given my shyness, though, no dogs with any prey drive at all. Senior dogs likely ok, but I am hard pass on puppies and young dogs who are nosey.
How’s my Health?
I am vetted. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.
