Rescue Story:
I was originally born in care with Zoe's and was adopted out. Unfortunately it didn't work out with my adopter and I'm now back on the hunt for a furever home again.

I have some prey drive so would likely find them too tempting to chase.

Older kids would be best as I'm still working on my manners.

Hi there, I’m Maverick! and I’m looking for my next best friend to share some sunshine and adventures with. I absolutely love soaking up the rays, whether it’s lounging in a sun spot or being outside on a summer day. One of my favourite things is being on neighborhood watch, I could watch through the window for hours. Passing cars, people, and other dogs? I’ve got a front-row seat, and I love it! I’m a great balance of being a laid-back couch potato and a fun adventurer. I would love to have a doggy friend to hang out and play with—having a buddy would be the best. About my Behaviour:
I am house trained, crate trained and know some basic obedience. I'm one smart cookie and will do best in a home that will make sure I get proper physical activity as well as mental enrichment. I do need some work on my loose leash walking as I will pull when I get excited. I’ll admit, sometimes I can get a overstimulated in certain situations and can get jumpy and mouthy. I would do best in an experienced home who will continue to work on my confidence, routine and proper boundaries. Zoe's will include 2 private training sessions with a certified force-free trainer with my adoption to help set my new family up for success!
