Rescue Story:

I was taken by Zoe's when they were contacted by the vet about me. See I had a growth on my leg and my owner opted to euthanize me instead of removing the growth. Maybe they couldn't afford it or didn't want to bother since it was cancer. Thankfully Zoe's agreed to take me on so I could get the surgery I need and now that I've made a full recovery and x-rays were clear (which means it didn't metastasize) I'm ready for adoption.

Date of Birth: July 2017

Good with Cats? Very specific cat(s) only
With very slow introductions to very cat friendly cats.
Good with Kids? No
No, thank you. They may not fully understand my cues and requests.

Critter Twitter:

I am one sweet girl, I may not be a lap cat but I love to rub up against your leg and everything else really. Although napping is my favorite pastime I do love to roll around in catnip. Sometimes I will run, jump and chase a wand toy but it's not really an everyday thing. If I want to be petted I will be sure to let you know, and as well when I am done with being loved on. I can't wait to be the queen of your house and heart. #loveme #cancersurvivor

About my Behaviour:

I will let you know if I no longer want to be petted or brushed. I can get easily overstimulated and may growl or meow but I won't bite or use my claws. I just ask that you please stop with the petting, no more touchy please.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I should be fed at least one wet food meal a day for hydration. I did have a mass on leg that was removed. It was cancer, unfortunately. There is a 50/50 chance of it coming back so any small lumps should be checked out at the vet immediately. Zoe's will offer rescue rates at one of their partner vets for any time I need to go to the vet. It is best that I always get a yearly exam and my weight stays at a healthy weight so I don't get overweight making it hard to feel any lumps.
