Rescue Story:

I was adopted out with Sommer in 2021 but needed to come back into care. My former family is lovingly covering costs of my food and litter while in foster care.

Date of Birth: August 2019

Energy Level: Medium

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: Donation

Good with Dogs? Unknown
Unlikely given my shyness, unless its a dog who will leave me be and is quiet.
Good with Cats? Bonded Pair
I must be adopted with Sommer, haven't been around other cats not sure how I would be.
Good with Kids? Unknown
Gentle, older and quiet kids I might be fine with.

Critter Twitter:

I am a very sweet girl once settled in. I enjoy playing and am happy to entertain myself, but I wouldn't turn down a good wand toy session each day. It boosts my confidence to hunt and kill the "prey." I also love a laser pointer, but it's annoying because it won't die! Please make sure to end with it pointed at a toy I can kill or with wand toy playtime. It helps me calm down and provides satisfying "kills." I do enjoy being a lap cat sometimes, but I'm not the biggest fan of being held. I'm the one who usually starts playdates with my bestie. I know we won't be instant best friends when we meet, but with time and love, I am well worth the wait. #shybutsweet

About my Behaviour:

I am shy initially and will take a bit of time to settle in. Once I have, I am quite affection. I won't be one really to come out when people are over but still come out to love you once they are gone and it's safe. I need a calm, quiet home please as I am skittish to loud sounds and fast movements.

I must be adopted with my bestie Sommer, we have been together since kittenhood.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important, as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.
