Good with Dogs? No
Meh, I am not a fan.
Good with Cats? Very specific cat(s) only
I am very cat specific, it is likely best that I am the only cat.
Good with Kids? Yes
But older, calm kids who understand to only pet my head.
Critter Twitter:
I am one sweet girl who loves to play, and I enjoy talking. I even sometimes will play fetch. I am quite independent, so I am the purrfect cat for someone who is looking for a cat who isn't attention-seeking and is happy to do my own thing. I do prefer to be nearby watching you, though. I am being fostered at a store, so, of course, I could be a bit more affectionate in a home once I have settled in. I can't wait to meet you! #playfultuxedo
I am currently fostered at Bone and Biscuit Gateway at 3354 Gateway Blvd. You can meet me any time during store hours.
About my Behaviour:
It is likely best that I am the only one, as I am very pet-specific and tend to go all Halloween kitty whenever I see new animals. Slow introductions to a cat who would leave me alone I might be ok with. But it's hard to say.
I prefer only to have my head petted. I can be overstimulated easily when you pet my body. Lots of playtime will help burn off my energy and help with the overstimulation.
A more zen-like home would be ideal for me, as I am a bit timid initially. It would help me settle in more quickly.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vetted. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important, as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.
I do have some allergies going on that are causing some redness around my eyes. A novel protein diet is best for me, but cats can be allergic to anything in the food, including legumes, veggies, grains, and kelp. It will be a bit of trial and error to find the best food that works for me.
I do need a tall litter box as I do like to dig.
