Rescue Story:
I was found in a rural area with my very young puppies after my owner had passed away. I dug a hole to keep them safe and was lucky to be rescued and brought to a nice warm home to raise them.

Size (adult): Medium (approx 40lbs)

Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
With slow introductions I can get along with calm, neutral dogs but I would do best in a home with no other animals.
Good with Cats? No
I am not a fan of the felines.
Good with Kids? Yes
With proper introductions and respectful interactions I would do just fine.

Hi, I’m Patchouli 🌿I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but if you give me some time and kindness, my sweet and affectionate side really starts to shine. I’m a gentle girl who’s still working on building my confidence, and I do best when I feel safe and supported. Once I trust you, I love being close to my people and sharing quiet, cozy moments together. I enjoy playing with my toys, chasing after a ball in a game of fetch, and keeping an eye on the world from my favourite window spot. If you’re patient, gentle, and looking for a loving companion who will grow more devoted every day, I might just be your girl.
About my Behaviour:
I am house trained but not crate trained. I am quite timid and living in a home is all new to me. I will need gentle, patient adopters who will work on my confidence and let me take things at my own pace. I am quite nervous of a leash right now so do require a home with a fenced yard where I can go outside. I can also be nervous when meeting new people, especially men. I'm a smart lady who will need plenty of mental enrichment and physical activity. To ensure we get off on the right paw, my adopters will be required to sign up for force-free training. How’s my Health?
I have a lame front leg that currently requires pain medication. I am scheduled to have surgery to remove a bone chip from an old injury which will hopefully help. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Zoe's cannot guarantee what breeds are in me.
