Rescue Story:

I was living outside as a farm kitty for all my life. My foster tried to trap me in 2021 but I was to savvy. Late 2022 I started coming around when she refilled the feeders and eventually I came for pets. After a week I waltzed right into a carrier and I have since really enjoyed being inside where it's warm and I don't have to fight to survive. I'm living the good life now and I can't wait to find my forever home.

Date of Birth: August 2014

Energy Level: Low

Size (adult): Large (overweight)

Adoption Fee: $75.

Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
I am fine with the senior small dog, not sure about large dogs.
Good with Cats? Yes
Especially cat friendly seniors cats and proper introductions.
Good with Kids? Unknown
Older calm kids who would be very gentle with me and not so hyper. If any.

Critter Twitter:

I am one purrfect gentlemen who loves people and loves laying on your lap. I will sometimes play with the turbo toy or the other cats but I am a big boy so it's hard to move around. I am a big love bug with a heart of gold and I can't wait to find my forever home. #lovebug

About my Behaviour:

I require a calm, quiet home that is understanding that I am skittish with fast movements and loud sounds. Preferably someone who is retired or works from home as I love being around my people.

I do like the company of other senior very cat friendly cats. I would require slow introductions though and enough resources and personal space. Sometimes I like clingy cats, sometimes I don't. You can understand that I am sure. If you are gone for long hours I would require a kitty companion. But if you are home most of the time I would be fine as an only cat as long as you don't mind a velcro kitty.

I mostly ignore the senior small dog. Never met any large dogs so I don't know how I would react. I know I would not like young dogs at all though. I don't like to be bothered by them and young dogs don't get that.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I must continue my diet to help me lose weight as I have a high risk of getting various health issues like diabetes and utis. A wet food mainly diet will help me lose the weight. I do play but not a lot given my size and age as such the weight loss will have to come from my diet.
