Stirling Tartan | Female | Tortie Mother (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
I was trapped outside a home depot and not claimed. I was pregnant and gave birth to 6 kittens (Tartan litter). They are old enough to find forever homes and now I am to!
Date of Birth: April 2025
Energy Level: Low (still learning to play)
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee: $200
Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
Only calm dogs who will leave me alone.
Good with Cats? Yes
Especially cat friendly cats with proper introductions.
Good with Kids? No
I prefer adult humans as kids make me quite nervous.
Critter Twitter:
I'm a stunning floofer with a tiny meow and a sweet personality. I love pets and scratches once I get to know you. Perhaps one day I'll be a lap cat. I enjoy attention, but I'm not demanding. I'm a great older kitten looking forward to finding my forever home. #lovebug #shybutsweet
About my Behaviour:
I require a calm, zen home as I am quite skittish initially with loud sounds, fast movements and new people. Once I settle in I am better but still prefer my peace and quiet. I was likely on my own for a long time (most likely abandoned) so I am still learning the some people will love me. I am starting to learn how to play and enjoy wand toy play time.
I would be good with dogs who ignore me. I likely would be good with very cat friendly cats with slow proper introductions (no bully cats please) or just fine as an only cat.
I am at Kibbles and Biscuits on 10838 124 Street NW. You can meet me any time during store hours.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vetted. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs. I do require large litter boxes for ample space.
