Lily Jones   |   Female   |   Lab X   |

Rescue Story:

I was an outside dog living on a farm but my owner couldn't keep me anymore so I was surrendered to Zoe's to find my furever home.

Date of Birth: 2012

Energy Level: Low - Sleeps and snuggles alot

Size (adult): Small for a Lab - approx 40 lbs.

Good with Dogs? Yes
I'm quite shy around other dogs, but I'd be fine with another one in the family if I was properly introduced.
Good with Cats? Unknown
I haven't been around any cats, but my foster Mom says I'd likely be fine with them if introduced properly.
Good with Kids? Unknown
I haven’t been around any kids, but I'd likely be fine with older kids. Younger ones or ones who want to play and wrestle may overwhelm me. I'm a very gentle, calm girl.

Critter Twitter:

I am a sweet, loving, quiet girl who adores scratches and will ask for you to keep going if you try to stop before I am ready! I am very, very mellow. I just like to be with you. I don't have a big interest in toys or cookie treats really. I love company and would rather not be left alone too much. I'm sooooo calm that my foster family has nicknamed me Chilly Lily. I'd love to be a part of your quiet family. If you think I'd be a good fit, please apply to adopt me today. #mellowyellow#labsrule

About my Behaviour:

Due to my moderate separation anxiety, I would be best suited to a home where people are around a lot, rather than one where I am home alone for 7 or more hours a day when everyone is at work/school.
I think I am also best suited to a home with older adults or other people who have low activity; people who want to hike or play catch & tug etc. with me may find me too laid back.

How’s my Health?

I am spayed, micro chipped and vaccinated.
