Rescue Story:
I was adopted out but returned as my adopter was unable to care for me anymore. I had a bonded brother but he sadly passed away. It took me awhile to settle into my foster home and it's clear that I am quite the shy boy and will need a very special type of home.

I am one very handsome boy who needs the purrfect home. I am a pretty aloof boy, I am happy doing my own thing. I am pretty chill but I do get zoomies daily, and love to play with soft catnip toys. I am not needy at all, unless it is meal time, then I am quite vocal about it. I will come cuddle and rub up against you as a sign of my affection for you for feeding me. I am a freeloader so I do at least have to be appreciative about being fed. It's the polite thing to do after all. I will often come and sleep on the bed with you for awhile at nights, until I get too hot and find another place to sleep. Or maybe I just like to say goodnight and make sure you fall asleep before taking the night watch for a bit before crashing myself. #shybutsweet #purrfectroommate
About my Behaviour:
I am very shy, and I do need a very calm, quiet home that is understanding about shy cat behavior. I will hide from strangers and not come out for a while after they leave, so I prefer you are a homebody or you go to their place instead. I will hold down the fort while you are away. With the right home, my foster knows I will be quite the lovebug and such a great cat overall. I just need someone willing to take a chance on me.
I was adopted out with my brother, but he passed away in 2021. I've been the only cat since and seem to prefer it that way.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vetted. I enjoy wet food and like to be fed wet food twice a day and leave out some dry food that I will eat overnight. I am currently taking gabapentin during high-stress times, and it's best that I continue getting it for at least a month to help me settle in. It is very cheap, so it won't break the bank. You can then try weaning me off. It's an anxiety medication and does help me not be so scared. I may be a big cat, but I am not that brave.
