Rescue Story:
My family were no longer able to take care of me so I was surrendered to Zoe's to find a new furever home.
Date of Birth: October 29, 2025
Energy Level: Low - even though I'm a puppy I much prefer napping over zooming
Size (adult): Small (approx 15lbs)

Good with Dogs? Yes
I am currently fostered with other small dogs and am starting to come out of my shell and want to play.
Good with Cats? Unknown
I haven't met any cats but with proper introductions I'd likely be fine.
Good with Kids? Yes
I adore kiddos and am currently fostered in a home with young children.

My name is Belly but my foster mama calls me baby spud because I'm a little potato. I love to nap and cuddle, preferably right in your lap whenever possible. The only thing I enjoy more than my cuddle time is meal time. I am such a little piglet for food. I will literally try to take the treat out of the other pups mouth before she finishes swallowing it. Basically the key to my heart is food followed by napping as close to you as possible! If you're looking for an adorable, loving, snuggly puppy then I just might be your perfect match.
About my Behaviour:
I can be a little bit of a nervous nelly and will need a family committed to continued socialization and confidence building. I am working on house training and crate training. I will voice my displeasure when left all alone and would prefer my humans aren't gone for long hours. I'm also starting to learn some cool tricks like sit and wait and sit pretty. I'm a smart little lady and love, love, love food so am always eager to learn. As a condition of adoption, we must register for a force free, in-person, group training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! How’s my Health?
I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. I also had surgery on my soft palette to help open up my airway so I could breathe easier.
