I came to Zoe's from a farm with a bunch of other kittens (same last name) to find my forever home.

Hi, I’m Gruyere, and I’m a curious little guy who always needs to know what’s going on around me! I love to climb and have a special talent for finding the strangest places to curl up for a nap. I’m independent and don’t need constant attention, but every now and then I’ll come looking for some pets and a short burst of cuddles. I’m happiest doing my own thing or sleeping curled up with my sisters, although I’m not much of a “touchy” sleeper. During the day I have a moderate energy level, but once nighttime arrives, I’m ready to get a little more mischievous and playful. I’m confident and should settle into my new home quickly, and I’ll be perfectly happy entertaining myself while you’re away for the day. If you’re looking for a playful, curious and independent companion who will greet you with extra attention when you get home, I might be just the kitten for you!
About my Behaviour:
I’m still learning that human legs and couches aren’t scratching posts, so I’ll need someone who can patiently redirect my climbing and scratching to appropriate places. I must be adopted to a home with another young cat, or to be adopted with a sibling. I love the company of others and I need a kitty playmate.
How’s my Health?
I am fixed, and I am microchipped, up to date vaccines, and dewormed. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important, as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.
