Critter Twitter:

Hello there! I am a snuggly, very loving dog. I will sit and wait to be invited up to snuggle on the couch with you. My foster mom says I learn quickly. I love my walks, and car rides, and really just love being anywhere my family is. I love to play with my rubber football and my big ropes, and my teddy bears don’t last long! I sleep through the night all you have to say is "bedtime!!" and I will lay on my bed beside yours and sleep until you wake up. I love giving kisses, I am very gentle if I am calm and relaxed. Sometimes it just takes an extra minute or two for me to relax. I get very excited when you get home, because I missed you! My foster mom says I’m great with big dogs, I greet and play properly once introduced. My foster sister is a Pomeranian, we love to snuggle and I love my walks with her. I walk great on my leash - when I go ahead a little, If I’m told wait, I will slow down. I know my name really well and I come when called all the time. I know the command sit and come really well, and we are still working on stay.

I would do best with a family that isn’t gone most of the day and loves to play and do things with me, I love to learn.

About my Behaviour:

I am not crate trained, but am fully house trained 🙂

I can get excited when people come to the door or my yard but I’m doing much better with that ? practice practice practice. I am great with people when they are coming in to my home or yard, once I’m introduced properly.
I can display mild resource guarding of my people and my toys.

How’s my Health?

I have allergies, I have been on a hypoallergenic food from the vet for a couple of months. It's duck and potato and I’m doing fantastic! I also love hypoallergenic treats from the vet. I am great with duck and do ok with lamb. Chicken, turkey and beef make me turn all red and get itchy - so none of that please! I get a cytopoint shot every month to keep my allergies under control. I must stay on vet food and get allergy shot for life, this tends to be $200-$300 per month. I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.
