Rescue Story:
I came to Zoe's after spending some time at the Edmonton Humane Society. I didn't fare too well there; I guess the kennel setting made me nervous and I lost my confidence. A loving family will help me get my mojo back!

Hey, beautiful humans of the world! I'm Bessie, and I'm your new best friend.
I love to go for long walks where I get to sniff EVERYTHING! We'll have so much fun exploring the world together. I also really like to play fetch. You could teach me some other games, too-I don't want to brag or anything, but I have excellent recall. I'll give you some training on administering proper belly rubs! 🙂
About my Behaviour:
I'm pretty mellow, but I'll admit that I'm a bit nervous when meeting people for the first time (especially young men). I think you'll be impressed with how well-trained I am! Children are safe with me, and I'm happy to lie quietly in my bed when you need me to.
