Elderberry Fruitcake   |   Male   |   Bonded House Panther (DSH)   |

Rescue Story:

My sibling and I were in need of a loving home and Zoe's had an open foster who could help us find a great one. We were very shy initially but have made huge strides in care.

Date of Birth: September 2021

Energy Level: High

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: $255 for Gooseberry and I.

Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met one, so not sure.
Good with Cats? Bonded Pair
I must be adopted with my sibling. We are good with other young cats with slow proper introductions.
Good with Kids? Yes
Especially if they are gentle with me.

Critter Twitter:

Ears to meet you. Get it? Ears to meet you on account of my massive ears instead of hello? I thought it was funny. I love to play, especially with my sibling and we are usually not too far away from each other. Like all siblings we have a healthy competition with each other, we even will try to vie for the best position on a lap. We find everything can be a toy to play with, even non-cat toys. It's called imagination folks. Some cats scoff at cat toys while we will find enjoyment in a twist tie. House panthers really are the best kitties, and what's better than two of them! #bondedhousepanthers

About my Behaviour:

My sibling and I must be adopted together as we are always together, whether it's playing, eating, or sleeping. There are other cats in the house, and while we are good with them, the 2-year-old cat likes us more as we don't take the 8-year-old cat's hint to bugger off. Personally, I feel that the senior needs to learn to enjoy life and play instead of sleeping all day, but the senior kitty doesn't agree. So maybe a home only with young cats or no other cats.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I will try to eat my sibling's food so we should be kept separately and no free feeding. I will get fat. The nice term is chonk but the health risks are too high to let me enjoy my chonkiness that will come with free feeding. It's easy enough to do, one meal morning, supper and before bed.
