Emile Daily | Female | Tortie Gal (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
I was found as a tiny kitty with a bad URI, I wouldn't have survived out there, and no one came to claim me. Zoe's agreed to take me in and give me much-needed care.
Date of Birth: May 2025
Energy Level: High
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee: $225
Good with Dogs? Yes
If cat friendly and won't chase me, we may be friends.
Good with Cats? Must have a cat friend
I must be adopted to a home with one younger cat to be my playmate with slow proper introductions.
Good with Kids? Yes
Especially if gentle with me. Older kids would likely be best as I am a bit shy initially and not super cuddly.
Critter Twitter:
I am a typical tortie; I am quite happy doing my own thing. I am not needy at all, but I will come and see you for pets and to say hi from time to time when I am tuckered out from playing. I am often too busy out on a grand adventure around the home to cuddle, sorry. Exploring the great bookshelf, the stairway to the unknown, and checking out what's on cat TV in different areas in the house. Cat life is pretty grand! I can't wait to find my forever home. #shybutsweet
About my Behaviour:
I must be adopted into a home with another younger, cat-friendly cat who would love to play with me and be my friend. Or I could be adopted with Ari, as we do get along great.
A more zen-like home would really help me settle in more quickly. I am a bit shy and aloof, but as I gain confidence and get older, that might change.
How’s my Health?
I am fixed, microchipped, and dewormed. The number of vaccines will depend on the length of care. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important, as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.
