Critter Twitter:

Hello, my name is Kaiya. I came to Zoe’s as a stray. I have learned a lot of new things while being here. I have learnt how to play and that toys are fun. I love to flip my toys around. I am starting to figure out the game of fetch. The flirt pole I am still figuring out, but I think I will like it, when I get the hang of what I am supposed to do. I love going for walks. My nose is to the ground for most of the walk. I will let you know when a rabbit is in the area. 😊 I have also learned that being in the house on a nice comfy bed is wonderful. If you let me sleep on your bed, I think that would be just peachy! I am a sweet, gentle girl. I love nothing more than being petted. I am told that it is not a hardship because I am so soft. I love giving affection too and will climb into your lap or jump up to give you hugs, if you will let me. I am fairly quiet most of the time. I do alert bark and I am vocal when playing with other dogs. If you are looking for a new fur member to add to your family and think I would be a good fit, please put in an application for me, I can't wait to meet you!

About my Behaviour:

I am house trained. I will lay in a crate, but do not like to be confined. If being in a crate is something you would like for me, you will need to take it really slow. I will need a secure backyard. I can also easily clear 3 feet, so will need at least a 5 foot fence. I do pull on leash, especially after seeing a rabbit. I have learned lots already, but still growing in confidence. So, I will need someone with kindness and patience as I continue to navigate being an indoor dog.

I would love to take a class with you, to help us bond and start off on the right paw! Please check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!

How’s my Health?

I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped.
