Kuna Yamnuska   |   Female   |   Bonded Torties (DSH)   |

Rescue Story:

Once locked in a backyard with little care, we came to Zoe's to try and be socialized and to give us a better life.

Date of Birth: June 2021

Energy Level: High

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: $50 for my sister and I.

Good with Dogs? No

Good with Cats? Unknown
I must be adopted with Juna, but it is best we are only cats.
Good with Kids? Unknown
Maybe teens who are very understanding of shy kitties.

Critter Twitter:

I am very mature and quite delicate. I will watch the toy first before going after it. I love to play. I will come and greet you at the door to say hi. I will come and sit beside you if you are sitting on the floor, purring away. I may look a bit worried but the camera was pretty big and scary. #supershybutsweet

About my Behaviour:

I must be adopted with my sister and we must be the only pets in the home.

I am more shy than my sister. I am hesitant to be petted and will take lots of love and wand play to help me adjust.

We are a part of the caretaker cat program. This means that we will take a few months to settle into our home. A calm quiet home would be necessary as well. Catifying your home with cat shelves, cat tents, and tunnels all around and ensuring to play with us with a wand toy a few times a day will help us settle in faster. Feliway plugins might also help. Any plants should be kept away from us as we love to dig in the dirt. We need someone to love us and be understanding that it will take us a while to trust. We might hiss and growl for the first bit but we will come around with bribery. We do really want to be loved, it's just scary. We hope you can understand.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. Scheduled meals 3-4 times a day would be a must to help form a strong bond between us.
