Rescue Story:
Zoe's was contacted for help spaying our mom but unfortunately she was already very pregnant so me and my siblings were born and grew up in care. I was adopted out as a young puppy but unfortuatenly I developed some resource guarding and wasn't getting along with the other dog in the home so now I'm back and looking for a new family.

Good with Dogs? Yes
I get along great with other dogs outside the home but in the home I sometimes resource guard my things so would likely do best as the only dog in the home.
Good with Cats? Maybe
I am currently fostered with cats but I I sometimes resource guard my things which would neeed to be managed in a multi-pet home.
Good with Kids? Maybe
I like kids but because of my resource guarding I would do best in a home with older kids who could respect my boundaries.

I’m Laulu, a big fluffy boy with an even bigger heart, and I absolutely love everyone and everything! I’m sweet, cuddly, and always ready to make a new friend, whether they have two legs or four. I’m the kind of pup who thinks every day should be an adventure, so I’d happily join you for a road trip, relax beside you on a patio, or stroll around the neighbourhood together. I love exploring new places and checking out everything the world has to offer. I also love playing with other dogs and have so much fun when I have a buddy to romp around with. I’m still learning that sharing isn’t always easy, and I’ve shown some resource guarding in the home, so I’ll need a family who is willing to help me work on those skills. With patience, consistency, and positive guidance, I’m sure I’ll keep learning and growing into the very best version of myself. If you’re looking for a fluffy, affectionate adventure buddy who loves life and loves people, I might just be your guy!
About my Behaviour:
I am house trained and crate trained. I am a sensitive boy and have shown resource guarding behaviours and will need to continue working on this when I'm adopted. I would do best as the only dog in the home but I currently live with two cats and with proper management we can coexist. I would be quite happy as a solo pet, especially if I could have some playdates with dog friends. I'm not a fan of nail clippers so will need continued desensitization to that, my foster mom introduced a scratch board and I think that's super fun. As a condition of adoption, we must register for a force free, in-person, group training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Zoe's cannot guarantee what breeds are in me or my size as an adult.
