I was surrendered by my owner as they were no longer able to take care of me and it wasn't a safe place for me to live.

Energy Level: Medium - as long as I get a good walk or play session then I'm quite content to snuggle up and nap at home.

Hi! I'm Mirya, AKA your new best friend! I have so much love to give and am ready and waiting for you to bring me home and snuggle. My foster pawrents say that I can be shy at first, but once you make me feel safe and loved, I'll be glued to your side! I can be energetic at times, and will follow you around like your shadow. I also love to play with other dogs, but playing around with my toys can be just as fun. Is there anything better than running around in the yard and rolling around in the grass? Of course there is! My favorite thing in the world is a good belly rub from my people!
About my Behaviour:
I am fully house trained, but I may have a couple little accidents as we get to know each other. The way I will tell you I need to go out can look very similar to my play, so please be patient with me as we figure each other out. I am also crate trained, although I can get a little bored in there on my own so please make sure I have plenty of toys to chew on to keep me entertained. When I'm bored, I will start chewing on items, but that can be fixed with a quick walk or a run in the yard to stimulate me. I might bark sometimes when I see other dogs walking outside. I don't pull on my leash when I'm on a walk unless I see another animal near by, and I'm not really interested in running when I'm off leash.
