Rescue Story:

I was an outdoor dog before I came into Zoe's care. I now love a mix of cuddling on the couch and spending lots of time outside. I was very malnourished when I came to Zoes, but I have been on a steady incline getting healthy and strong. I'm ready to find my new furever family!

Date of Birth: 2015

Energy Level: Medium

Size (adult): Medium/ Large (60lbs)

Adoption Fee:

Good with Dogs? Yes
I am unsure with new dogs, but if you give me some time I should warm up and relax.
Good with Cats? No
Nope, I don't want anything to do with kitties!
Good with Kids? Yes
I get along great with kids! But I do jump up and will nip during play time which can scare young kids.

Critter Twitter:

I am Nova! I am THE sweetest, most loving girl! I want to be around my humans as much as I can! I will follow you wherever you go. I am very quiet and hardly ever bark. I am very playful and energetic and I love to play with my toys. I would really enjoy having a big yard to run around in. My foster says I am a VERY fast learner. Currently I am doing well learning how to walk on a leash. I am house trained and working on my crate training. I sound pretty darn perfect, right?? Apply to adopt me today! You won't be sorry, I promise! #lovebug #smartcookie

About my Behaviour:

I am learning not to jump up and also learning not to nip when playing. I am also learning to stay calm when I am on a leash and see other dogs and bicycles. I need continuous training so I can become the best adult doggie I can be!

**As a condition of my adoption we are going to have to go to school together! Take a look at the Alberta Force Free Alliance site (albertaforcefreealliance.com) and find us a good class!**

How’s my Health?

I am spayed, microchipped, dewormed and vaccinated.
