Rescue Story:

I came to Zoe's when the "man" of the house was threatening to shoot me if I wasn't rehomed. My mom was heart broken but had no choice for my safety to bring me to Zoe's. I was extremely overweight, and had not managed diabetes.

Date of Birth: December 2010

Energy Level: Low

Size (adult): Large (still on a diet)

Adoption Fee:

Good with Dogs? No
I am quite scared of dogs now, so please no dogs.
Good with Cats? Yes
I am best with cats who will do their own thing, like me.
Good with Kids? No
They are very scary... so scary.

Critter Twitter:

I am a stunning green eyed boy who can be shy initially, but I am also the most chill, laid back cat to ever grace your presence. I do enjoy playing, alot more since my dental surgery, but now I act like a kitten! I know my name, and, will come when call, and I enjoy being brushed (even my teeth) and nail trims are no problem with me. I purr nonstop and will follow you around like a shadow. #shybutseriouslyyourbff #seriouslyfolksbestcatever

About my Behaviour:

I am still quite fearful of men, the severe abuse has really made it hard for me to trust them. And I really need a calm, understanding home, that understands that deep grain trauma will require lots of loving to help heal.

How’s my Health?

I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. I do have diabetes but currently in remission, it will have to be monitored to make sure it doesn't come back. If it does I will require treatment on insulin and daily blood tests. Its not as hard as some people think though. Weight has always been my issue so it's important that I am never ever free fed and fed regulated wet food meals only. I had most of my teeth removed due to bad dental disease, but the ones i have left are great. As I am a senior, my adoption fee is $75.
