Rescue Story:
My owner became very ill and was no longer able to care for me, so his family stepped up and took me in. I have adapted so well, but it's time for me to find my own furever family!
*As a courtesy post Zoe's has not met "Pawmer". We facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We ensure the animal is up to date on vet care and spayed/neutered- Zoe's does not personally know the animal. It is the adopters' responsibility to do their due diligence - ask for vet records, microchip information, and/or a trial period*

Energy Level: Medium-High I would do best with daily exercise and enrichment. I have an amazng off-switch for chill time.

Good with Dogs? Yes
I currently live with two dogs and do very well. With proper intros, I am social with other friendly dogs.
Good with Cats? Yes
I currently live with two cats and I do very well with them.
Good with Kids? Yes

Hello world - I'm Pawmer. My people also call me Pompom, cause I'm a sweet and cuddly little pup. Loving people of all sizes is my main goal in life! I'm affectionate but not a total lap dog. I like to curl up on the couch in a cloud of blankets when I'm tired and have a good long snooze. I'm not a morning dog - I'll happily sleep in as late as you want! I love to go on long walks and any sort of outdoor adventure. I'm fast and agile and would likely excel in dog sports, if you're into that! I'm a very smart girl, and love learning new things. I'm super toy motivated (tug is life!) but I'm learning that treats are a great motivator too.
About my Behaviour:
I would do best in a home that can provide me with daily activity and enrichment. I am great at matching energy and know when it's time to chill. Because I am so people focused, I would do best with someone not gone long hours as I become a bit bored after 4-6h alone. I love to play with my dog-sister (who is twice my size and still a puppy) and I'm respectful of the older dog's boundaries in the home. I don't bother with the two cats that I live with, even when they run around. I'm quite good on leash and I'm easily redirected if I start to pull. I am a confident girl but can get over-aroused in high energy situations, so continuing socialization is important for me.
How’s my Health?
I am spayed and up to date on my vaccinations. I am sensitive to chicken and had some dry itchy skin - however that has improved immensely since eating a chicken free diet.
