Porky Bear | Male | House Panther (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
I was rescued at 5.5 weeks old, my mom was a stray feral cat and sadly none of my siblings survived. Thankfully a kind lady took me in and asked Zoe's for help to find me a forever home.
Date of Birth: May 2026
Energy Level: High
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee: $225 for me, $350 for a sibling and me.
Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
Calm dogs with no prey drive I would likely be ok with. Especially seniors. I likely wouldn't be a good fit for a puppy.
Good with Cats? Must have a cat friend
I would love to be adopted with Bunny, or to a home that has another young kitten needing a bestie.
Good with Kids? Yes
Older kids I would be good with. I am still a bit mouthy but not mean.
Critter Twitter:
My foster calls me "puppy-cat" because I have golden retriever energy—I love everyone and everything! I may not always be the most graceful or the smartest, but I definitely have the biggest heart. I’m a huge lap kitten at night and love curling up to sleep with my foster. I’m very confident and quite chill; honestly, not much phases me. I am such a sweet, well-adjusted kitten who would thrive in most homes, provided I have another kitten buddy to play with. #lovebug
About my Behaviour:
I’m on the hunt for a forever home where I can continue my favorite hobby: nonstop playing! I would be happiest in a home with my best buddy, Bunny, or with a fellow kitten who needs a playmate. I absolutely love other kitties, especially those my own size who are up for a good wrestling match—having a young playmate is the secret to me leaving the senior cats alone. And keeping me happy.
I’m a bit of a velcro kitten who thrives on affection, so I’m looking for a family that’s home often to shower me with the attention I crave. If you’re looking for an active, loving companion who will keep you entertained, I’m the kitten for you!
How’s my Health?
I am fixed, and I am microchipped, up to date vaccines, and dewormed. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important, as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs. I can not be free fed as I will eat and eat. I also should be fed separately from others in an enclosed room so I don't bully them off their food.
