Sesame Roasted | Male | Bonded House Panther (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
My mom was a semi-feral cat that a lady was taking care of. Like most semi-ferals, she only trusted her, and the vet wouldn't spay her because she was too feral. She did, of course, get out and had 4 kittens. Sadly, two didn't survive, but the two survivors are thriving, and now we are ready for our forever homes. Oh, and our mom was spayed, so no more litters for her! She gets to be spoiled by her caretaker and we get to find our forever home together.
Date of Birth: March 8, 2025
Energy Level: Very High
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee: $350 for my sibling and I.
Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met one. Maybe if super cat friendly with no prey drive and will leave me alone if I request my space I would be ok.
Good with Cats? Bonded Pair
I must be adopted with my sibling as we are bonded. We are good with other very cat friendly cats with slow proper introductions.
Good with Kids? Unknown
Older kids I would be just fine with especially if they provide me with lots of play time and attention.
Critter Twitter:
I have such an oriental look to me; maybe I have some Siamese in me, and that's why I love to chat. Or maybe I just have so much to say! I will cuddle when I am tired, but only when I am tired. I still have lots of zoomies, and I love to play with my brother. He and I are besties! We can't wait to meet you! #shybutsweet
About my Behaviour:
I must be adopted to a home with my brother, as we are besties. We are good with other very cat-friendly cats with slow, proper introductions. We do prefer the company of each other only, though. I am quite timid and look to my brother for reassurance. We pretty much keep to each other only, though, so if you have a kitty who prefers that, that's fine with us.
I do need a calm, quiet home so I can settle in more quickly. Oh, and a catio would be nice to have! My brother and I love being outside in it.
How’s my Health?
I am vetted. I prefer wet food over dry and would like at least 3-5 meals of wet food a day. You can give a tiny bit of dry food to help stretch out the wet food. My brother and I are just not fans of dry food. But we love our wet food, which is actually best for cats. It can really help prevent urinary issues that are related to dry food (lack of moisture and high carbs can lead to obesity, which increases the risk of a uti).
I did have quite a few tummy issues going on, which is why I am a bit on the small side, but I am doing much better now. I am still a bit picky with food, so it may be trial and error to find my favourite food. A probiotic may help as well as a sensitive diet.
