Sherlock Holmes   |   Male   |   Dabond short hair (DSH)   |

Rescue Story:

My brother and I were returned as the new baby had severe allergies to us and we were a bit scared of the crying baby. It was hard for them to give us back but wanted what's best for us and their baby. We can't wait to find our new forever home.

Date of Birth: November 2015

Energy Level: Low - Medium

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: $170 for Watson and I. A twofer!

Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met one, maybe only very calm dogs who would ignore me. But probably best no dogs.
Good with Cats? Bonded Pair
I must be adopted with Watson. We are also good with other very cat friendly cats with proper introductions and lots of resources.
Good with Kids? Maybe
Only older cat savvy kids who understand my quirks and will be very gentle. No babies or toddlers please.

Critter Twitter:

My name is Sherlock Holmes. And like Sherlock on tv, I have some quirks. Namely, I prefer to investigate new people from a safe distance, it is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. I like to do my own thing and will come to you for pets and affection. I am not a lap cat, but I do love cuddling in bed. I like to do my own thing and I am very much an introvert (like Mr. Holmes). I may not be a spring chicken, but I still have my playful moments. #thegameisafoot #mrquirk #luvemeforme

About my Behaviour:

I am a shy boy who will need a calm, quiet home where I can take my time to get to know you. I do not like loud noises or sudden movements. I also do not like to be picked up. I also prefer to initiate affection. I would love a home where it's consistent and stable.

Watson and I must stay together. He helps me come out of my shell quicker and to be more sociable. We are good with other very cat-friendly cats with slow proper introductions and tons of resources.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. We can not be free-fed as Watson will eat all of it. Feeding meals will also help strengthen our bond.
