Critter Twitter:

I am a shy but extremely sweet girl. Once I have settled in I am super chill and love to be carried around. I do not like to lay on laps but I will happily catch some z's beside you. I love to play, but usually by myself with toys I can throw around and chase. I'm slowly learning to play with my foster with a wand toy, it will take me some time though. I am one amazing cat once settled in and I am well worth the extra love. #shybutsweet

About my Behaviour:

I would do best in a small, calm, quiet home with maybe just one or max two people so it will be easier for me to trust. A home with gentle owners who are understanding of my needs. I would only be good with calm, gentle cat friendly dogs and cats or just as happy as an only pet.

Here's a note from my foster mom about me:
Willow is extremely sweet, but you just need to be patient with her. She has lived alone outside and won't trust you from day one! Prepare a hiding space for her for the first few weeks so she can hide without feeling someone can see her. It took her two weeks to not run when she felt I was moving toward her area. It would be best if the hiding place is in your bedroom so she also gets familiar with your scent, she will sleep on your bed when you are not around. You can gain her trust by bribing her with food but do that after a few days, not day one!

Once she sees she doesn't need to run from you, she will open up pretty quickly after that!
Approach her sitting down, she might be scared by a big something looking so tall. If she is trying to approach you, just sit down until she comes to you, let her control how close she wants to get to your hand!
Once she trusts you, she will be so chill around you, she will run to you by your alarm to get your love.

She has never shown any sign of aggression, she is gentle with her claws and has never done a playful-bite (when playing)

In short, just give her weeks even a month or two to trust you and she will be the loveliest cat.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I do needs to be fed meals so you can form a bond with me. Food = love after all and if I think its the magical never ending dish that provides for me, it will slow down my progress.
