My Rescue Story
My mama was surrendered when she was pregnant as her owners had too many dogs. My siblings and I were born in Zoe’s care and now we’re big enough to start our hunt for furever homes.
**The Kahlo Litter are currently in a whelping home and will only be moved to foster or potential adoptive homes at 8 weeks. Adoptions will not be finalized until the puppies are spayed/neutered at 12 weeks.**

Hey there! I’m Pepita, a tiny package of puppy fun with a personality that’s anything but small. I’m curious, playful, and always ready to see what kind of excitement I can find around the corner. Toys, new experiences, and time spent with my people are all high on my list of favourite things. I have that classic puppy sparkle, along with plenty of energy that will need a positive outlet as I grow. Of course, being adorable and playful is hard work, so I also believe in taking regular cuddle breaks. If you’re looking for a fun little companion who can bring plenty of joy to your home, I’m Pepita, and I’m ready for my next chapter!
How do I act?
As a condition of adoption, we must register for a force free, in-person, group training class for puppies. We’ll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! Please check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!
My Health is Very Important!
I will be spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Zoe’s cannot guarantee what breeds are in me or my size as an adult.

Our adoption policies/process can be found here. Please review it prior to filling out an adoption application, as it can help you determine whether our rescue is the right fit for your needs. Puppies must attend force-free puppy classes. Make sure you can afford the extra expense, as it is a requirement to buy your classes prior to pick up. (They do not give refunds).
