Amber Stone *Update*   |   Female   |   The REAL canadian cat (DSH)   |   Special Needs

Rescue Story:

I came into care pregnant with my babies. I ended up getting a serious uterine infection that required an emergency spay and care. I was adopted out but returned sadly due to some litter box issues. I've been perfectly fine in my foster home though.

Date of Birth: October 2017

Energy Level: Medium - High

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: $25

Good with Dogs? Yes
If they are cat friendly and will leave me alone I should be fine. Otherwise, they are very scary!
Good with Cats? Yes
I love other young playful cat friendly cats with slow proper intros. But I prefer not too many.
Good with Kids? Yes
Gentle kids I am great with.

Critter Twitter:

I am one stunning girl. I may be a tortie but torttitude I do not have. I am funny, friendly and an all around great cat. Most things don't bother me. I may take awhile to become a lap cat, but I do love to sit near my foster and will come when called. I love soft blankets and will cuddle into them. #awesomecat

About my Behaviour:

I would really love a home on an acreage where I could be an indoor/outdoor cat as Zoe's thinks it will help me a lot. I have been peeing in the house, not frequently but enough that they feel giving me access to both will help get rid of my stress and territorial issues. Of course, I would have to be inside for a month to help me form a strong bond with you. A home in the city would be ok if you are able to put up cat fencing to keep me in the yard.

I would love a home that has a routine (I thrive on it, I know when my foster sleeps and is up and I take my naps accordingly). One with lots of interactions with my people and a very cat friendly cat buddy who would play with me.

How’s my Health?

I am spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and dewormed. I do have a past history of UTIs and currently, I am on urinary food which should continue. I had diabetes before but have been in remission for over a year now. It is important that you watch my weight as I did have diabetes in the past. I or any other cat in the home can not be free-fed as I will eat and eat. And eat. And eat.
