Rescue Story:

I was found with my sibling at a pond all alone with no mom and no person around, likely we were dumped there. Zoe's agreed to take us both in when our finder couldn't keep us.

Date of Birth: June 2026

Energy Level: High

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: $225 for me, $350 for a sibling and me.

Good with Dogs? Unknown
I haven’t met any but if they were cat-friendly, maybe?
Good with Cats? Must have a cat friend
I’m a little unsure at first, but I like the resident cats in my foster home. I must go to a home with either my sibling or you need a young cat friendly cat to be my buddy.
Good with Kids? Yes
I haven’t met any but if they’re gentle and play with me, I’ll probably love them!

Critter Twitter:

I’m Cinder, a cutie pie who’s eternally looking for the shared ginger cat brain cell. My sister Cedar and I were found outdoors when we were just a few weeks old, by a Zoe’s volunteer who was walking our dogs - we were all alone in some bushes. We’re pretty lucky she found us! I love getting belly rubs while I’m napping in my favorite bed. I like to make biscuits and suckle on my bed to soothe myself before I fall asleep, my foster mom tells me it’s really adorable.

Once I’m tired out from playing with my sister Cedar, if I’m not in my bed, I like to curl up on your shoulder and fall asleep. My big boy purrs directly in your ear is kind of like ASMR, which I’m told is pretty trendy. #purrr

About my Behaviour:

I must be adopted to a home with either my sibling or you need a young very cat friendly cat at home for me. I do need slow introductions to new cats, but I do very much enjoy other cats company and love to play with them. Ideally I would be adopted with my sibling, but as long as you have a young cat buddy who will play with me and cuddle with me I will thrive.

How’s my Health?

I am fixed, and I am microchipped, up to date vaccines, and dewormed. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important, as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.

I had an upset tummy for my first few weeks in care, so it took a little while for me to figure out how to use the litter box. My foster mom uses Dr. Elsey’s Kitten Attract litter and feeds me Royal Canin Gastro wet food, and that’s helped so much. I feel way better now and haven’t had any accidents since my tummy has settled down! My adopters need to continue using this litter and food until I’m a little older and settled in to ensure no regression occurs. A sensitive wet food with some dry diet would be best for me.
