Rescue Story:
I was a stray living out in the cold trying to find a warm place and lucky for me Zoe's was able to bring me in and find me a cozy foster home. I was adopted out to a family who love me very much but I've become overprotective of the young children which is a stressful situation for all of us so I am looking for a home that's a better fit.

Energy Level: Low – I love my daily walk but can lounge around and be a cuddle companion.
Size (adult): Large (approx 70lbs)

Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
I need slow intros to new dogs and would do best with no other animals.
Good with Cats? No
I do have a prey drive and will chase cats.
Good with Kids? Yes
I currently live in a home with young children and am very gentle with them, but due to my overprotective anxiety and my size, I would be better in a home with older teens or no kids at all.

Hey friends, it's Lemon Loaf! I REALLY like humans but I have a tendency to sometimes take my job as protector of the young kids in my home too seriously. I love my daily walks but I am still working on pulling due to excitement. I love the occasional game of tug-of-war and it tuckers me right out. At home, I love to lounge and stay close to my people. I love my comfort and will find a cozy blanket or pillow to curl up on. I am a good watch dog and will alert my family when someone comes to the door. I have some quirks but I am quick to love.
About my Behaviour:
I am house trained and fine to be left alone free-range. I do miss my family if they are gone too long, so would do best in a home where I am not alone for extended periods of time. I have never chewed anything and have never done any damage to my home. I do need a child free and pet free home. I have been ok with some dogs but can am particular about my friends. Zoe's will include 2 private training sessions with a certified force-free trainer with my adoption to help set my new family up for success!
How’s my Health?
I take medication to help me manage my anxiety. My family suspects I may have mild allergies, but it has been managed using a supplement and omega fish oil. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped.
