Hey! I'm Cooky, a gentle-hearted girl that loves to make people smile! I'm always happy to play around and I want to be involved in everything, although sometimes I forget just how big I am when I'm playing. I would do well in a home that can give me lots of attention as I don't like to be left alone for too long. As much as I love playtime, the best part of life comes when I get to curl up in your lap for some snuggles - did I mention I don't know how big I am? My foster pawrents say that I'm made up of all of the best parts of whatever breeds I'm mixed with and there isn't a mean bone in my body! If you’re looking for a sweet and snuggly best friend, I just might be your perfect match!
About my Behaviour:
I walk well on leash and have a good recall. I can be a little reactive when I meet other dogs if I'm not off leash, but once we have a chance to properly meet without a leash, I'm happy as can be to play around with them! I also sleep on my own at night without the need for a crate. Sometimes I can get into things I'm not supposed to if I'm left along for the day, but I'm usually a very good girl. To ensure we get off on the right paw, my adopters will be required to sign up for force-free training. You can find a list of great trainers at www.albertaforcefreealliance.com.
