Critter Twitter:

Greys Anatomy litter: We were just a bunch of scraggly kittens with sore eyes and bad colds- we weren't sure who we belonged to exactly, our mamas were raising us together, trying to find enough food from our kind neighbour people- and we would hide and be very quiet when they were out hunting, waiting for them to come back and nurse us together. Our homes were an abandoned garage, hiding under old pallets, under a deck, and under a step where someone nice would slip us a can of food. Then one day, these ladies (and a nice man too) came along and put out all the food we could eat! Funny thing was, when we ate the food, we found we were caught in a cage, and it was very scary. But the people brought us one by two by three to a warm place with lots of food, and soft places to lay, and toys to play with! We miss our mamas, but we heard they will never need to have more babies again, and that their lives will be so much easier. We're all at different homes now, and the lady that brought us there gave us kisses, and she hugged us, and wished us the best life ever. And we believe her- we have a future that doesn't mean hiding from coyotes, and no cold dark hungry nights, and no scary cars to run from. Learning to be inside kitties isn't going to be so bad at all.
