I lived at a local garbage dump for quite some time before coming into care. Now I'm looking for my furever home.

Hello! My name is Dwayne. I can often be found napping ... or napping! I love to sleep! If I can find myself a little pillow fort, I might never get up! #PillowPrincess. If i'm not snoozing, I love to join you for a car ride! I take my car rides very seriously and keep my eyes on the road unless I have an open window, then you’re on your own! I need to smell all the things! I'm a very smart guy, I can sit, lie down, and shake a paw.
About my Behaviour:
I would prefer a home where i am the only dog, but I might do okay with an appropriately suited female dog. Definitely no male dogs. I cannot go to off leash parks, as I have spent years defending myself in the community. I require a dog experienced owner who will be willing to help me gain confidence and do MANDATORY obedience training with a force free trainer, which can also help us bond!
