Rescue Story:

I originally came to Zoe's after being quilled by a porcupine. They got me fixed up and adopted but unfortunately it didn't work out and now I'm back looking for a second chance.

Date of Birth: Approx December 2020

Energy Level: Medium - I like a good play but also know how to chill

Size (adult): Medium (approx 50lbs)

Adoption Fee: $50 a special price for a special girl!

Good with Dogs? No
I would do best in a home with no other animals.
Good with Cats? No
They are too tempting to chase.
Good with Kids? No
Kids 15+ who can read dog body language.

Critter Twitter:

Hi I'm Juniper! I'm a smart pup who loves learning new things, I already know some of the basics but can't wait to learn more. I also love a good game of fetch or tug of war with my humans. And after that? Well, there's nothing better than curling up on the couch for some cuddles. I'm an affectionate pup who loves being around my people. I'm looking for an active home that will continue working on my training and help me become the best dog I can be.

About my Behaviour:

I am house trained and crate trained and am fine being left in my crate when you go to work. I do need a home that is experienced with dogs and can read my body language. I can be reactive around other dogs and need slow introductions to new humans. I love going on walks but do need to keep practicing my leash skills. I'm a quiet girl and rarely bark, only at those pesky squirrels outside! Zoe's will be providing three private session with a certified force-free trainer to ensure we get off on the right paw.

How’s my Health?

I was quilled by a porcupine and may still have some quills emerging. I also had an ulcer in my left eye that may leave scarring but doesn't require any ongoing treatment. I am spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on my vaccinations.

This animal is in need of a new foster home. Are you interested in fostering?
