Mowgli Oliver   |   Male   |   Rabbit   |

Rescue Story:

I came to Zoe’s with my best friend Mowgli and we are so excited to find our forever family!

Date of Birth: December 2016

Energy Level: Medium

Size (adult): Small

Adoption Fee:

Good with Dogs? Yes
Yes – if the dog keeps to himself and doesn’t bug me, I find them to be fascinating creatures to watch.
Good with Cats? Unknown

Good with Kids? Yes
Young children should be supervised when handling bunnies, and older kids should be taught how to hold us before being left alone because of our delicate nature. I’m afraid of loud noises and fast movements and may be better suited in a home with older children. I’m very difficult to hold and will kick and climb to get away if I want to be back on the ground. Moo on the other hand, is easier to hold and enjoys being pet and cuddled.

Critter Twitter:

Out of me and Moo, I am totally the athletic one. I have been known to go exploring when my humans aren't looking, and I like to make it into a game and run laps around the room. I'll even run right over to you if you bring out the treat bag! #athlete #explorer #sprinter

About my Behaviour:

I am a bit wilder than my best friend Moo. I have a curious soul and I enjoy exploring. I love to run and hide and am always binkying and racing laps around the room. You will often find me in places I shouldn't be. I don’t like to be picked up and can be pretty hard to hold onto at times, but when I’m comfortable enough with you, and if it’s on my terms, I’ll happily let you rub my cheeks and forehead. Sometimes I get jealous of Moo getting pets, so I'll come ask for some too. My favorite toy is my tent.

I am very food motivated and will come running at the sound of the treat bag. I love to cuddle and play with my best friend Moo and both of us always beg to be let out of our pen.

Our ideal home would be with someone who has lots of time to let us out of our cage, or enough space to have our play pen around our cage as I love to run and explore. I also would really benefit from someone who can spend time helping me socialie. With a bit of time, handling and trust, I think I could become a lot less timid!

Both Moo and I like our litterboxes clean or we will stop using them.

We are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. We do find moving homes to be stressful, so we might take a week or more to settle in to a new home. We have a special adoption rate of $100 for both of us.

How’s my Health?

No medical issues, but I was dropped as a baby and broke my leg so I can’t jump very high. I am neutered and microchipped.
