Good with Dogs? Yes
I get along great with other dogs!
Good with Cats? Yes
I currently live with cats and with slow introductions I would be fine.

Older kids would be best as I am nervous about loud noises and fast movements.

Critter Twitter:

Hello, I'm Myr! Not only am I cute, I'm also a happy playful girl who loves to chase and tug and wrestle with the resident dogs in my foster home, but I am also a great independent player! The humans are pretty fun to play with too! I am definitely the type of dog who loves to be with my people- snuggling up on the couch and I’m more than happy to be the little spoon if you’ll let me! I am a gentle giant. I am tall and lanky and very goofy when I play but I am very sweet and love to nuzzle into you, place my chin on you and give very soft gentle kisses. I take a bit of time to trust but once I do I will be a Velcro dog.

About my Behaviour:

I am a sensitive soul and can be nervous in new situations or with new people. I am looking for a home that will take things slow with me and continue working on my confidence. Once I'm comfortable I'll show you my true love bug self. You will need to be patient with me when you introduce me to new people as I tend to hide a bit but with slow patient intros I come out of my shell a lot faster! I don’t do well in public settings as it’s a lot of “new” and I am my most comfortable self when I can slowly learn new things and new places/people. I do get excited and have some leash reactivity when I see other dogs but I've been working hard on that. I'm great with other dogs off leash. My leash reactivity is based on me being scared so there is no aggression, I just don’t trust new things around me. If we walk without distractions, I do much better. I have made a lot of progress but will require consistent training and someone who is patient with my lack of confidence.

Zoe's will include 2 private training sessions with a certified force-free trainer with my adoption to help set my new family up for success!

How’s my Health?

I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. I have a bit of a sensitive stomach and am a bit of a picky eater so certain foods will give me an upset belly.
