Rescue Story:
I was originally adopted out as a puppy but I was having some anxiety because of the young children in the home so it was decided I would come back to Zoe's to look for a better fit.

Energy Level: Medium - I like a good play but also know how to chill
Size (adult): Large (approx 75lbs)

Good with Dogs? Yes
I am fostered with other dogs and we get along well.
Good with Cats? Maybe
I haven't lived with cats but with proper introductions I might be ok.
Good with Kids? Maybe
I am fostered with kids 6+ and do great, but I do get nervous around toddlers.

I’m a total people dog—I love my humans and will happily snuggle up with you any chance I get. Whether we’re lounging on the couch or relaxing after a long day, I’ll be right by your side, ready for belly rubs and ear scratches. I get along well with the kids and other dogs in my foster home and I have a medium energy level—I love to play, but I also know how to settle down and just hang out. I can be a little cautious in new situations. I like to take my time, watch what’s going on, and make sure everything is safe before jumping in. About my Behaviour:
I am house trained and crate trained. I would love a home with another dog to keep me company and with humans who aren't gone for long hours. I enjoy going for walks and am working on my leash manners, sometimes I forget and will pull when I know we're heading home to cuddle. To ensure we get off on the right paw, my adopters will be required to sign up for force-free training. You can find a list of great trainers at www.albertaforcefreealliance.com.
How’s my Health?
I do have some anxiety and am currently taking medication. This may not be needed long term but will help with my transition to a new home. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped.
