Rescue Story:

I was surrendered as I was set to be euthanized due to my being diabetic, Zoe's agreed to take me in. Can you believe a sweetheart like me was going to be euthanized because of a very treatable disease? I am glad I have a new chance to find an amazing furever home.

Date of Birth: May 2009

Energy Level: Low - Medium

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee:

Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met one.
Good with Cats? Yes
I am great with proper introductions to all other cats, especially oldies like me.
Good with Kids? Unknown
If they were gentle with me, most likely. Mean or loud kids I'd hide from.

Critter Twitter:

I am big, soft loving cat. I may not be a lap cat but I love to sleep beside you purring away. I also enjoy being carried. I may be a senior but I do still love to play! Wand toys and laser pointers especially are fun. I find the strangest place to sleep and I am a bit clumsy. It just adds to my character. I am one amazing boy you will fall in love with. #awesomecat

About my Behaviour:

I am great with the 5 other cats in the home, I just go about my business. Even when the territorial cats get all up in my grill, I tell them to chillax and walk away. I love food (a little too much, being overweight is what caused my diabetes) and will put my paw on your foot while I wait for it. I have never met any dogs, so I don't know how I will react to them. Kids if they were gentle and not loud, I'd be ok with. I am special needs so please be aware.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I do have diabetes but I am in remission! It would be a good idea to test my blood weekly to ensure it stays that way, it's a very simple test, an ear prick is all that's needed. My foster can show you how. I should either stay on my diabetic food or go on an all wet food diet. Making sure I stay at a healthy weight is vital! As I am special needs, my adoption fee is only $25.
