Rescue Story:
I came into care at 7 weeks old with my two sisters when Zoe’s got a call to help out a family in need.

Star is a pretty appropriate name for me - I like being the center of attention! I have loads of energy and I am a really spunky monkey. I pounce on anything that moves and like to zoom around and make a game out of just about anything! I also can be really cuddly. I don’t like to be held tightly, but if you let me curl up on your lap, I will melt in and let you pet me. I particularly love neck scratches and gentle tummy tickles. One of my favourite snacks are kibble cubes - my foster mom pops them into a Kong for me to chew on when it’s time to relax in my pen.
About my Behaviour:
I know sit, touch and down although I don't always listen on the first try. My foster mom and I play with a flirt pole to help burn off some of my energy. The two adult dogs also play tug and chase with me to tire me out! I do love snuggles on the couch and sleep really well at night in my crate with only a bit of complaining - I settle with a treat pretty quickly!
I am learning my manners and at this point it is best for an adult only home to adopt me and work on perfecting them! I am going to need someone very diligent and versed in force free training, I am MUCH smarter than you think. 😉

How’s my Health?
I will be spayed and up-to-date on vaccines and dewormers when I go to my forever home. Zoes does not know any of the breeds in me (nor will they guess) and are not sure how large I will grow to be, sorry. If size and breeds are not an issue for you, please apply for me.
