Rescue Story:

For a time, our parent was homeless and we were living out of a van eating far too much human table/waste scrap food. I was up to 20 lbs! My mom was 15! Luckily, 2 beautiful ladies from Drayton Valley adopted us and our weight loss journey began. I lost over 4 lbs in the next three years but one was getting forgetful and couldn't remember if she had fed us. Additionally we were not getting along with the other cats, and It was time for a change so we came to Zoe's to find a forever home. We weighed approx 12.6 and 15.7 lbs at intake.

Date of Birth: June 2014

Energy Level: Low

Size (adult): Large

Adoption Fee:

Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met one, so not sure.
Good with Cats? Bonded Pair
I must be adopted with my mom Mystique. It would be best if we are the only cats though.
Good with Kids? Yes
Especially if they are gentle with me and don't give into my diet complaints.

Critter Twitter:

I am one very sweet and very stunning girl who loves to be brushed. I love to cuddle and am quite the lap cat. I bet you will be glad I am no longer 20lbs! I am starting to play a bit more each day and I am a very mellow lady. I just want to be loved on! #sweetie

About my Behaviour:

I have been going on walks around the apartment building on a harness. I might enjoy going on walks outside to with my harness/leash or enjoy a catio. I do eat plants, especially if I am super hungry so be sure to feed me the 4 times a day allotted. Timed feeders are a great tool as long as I can't break into it. We do meow often when hungry so you must not break as it's vital we go to a healthy weight to prevent health issues like UTIs, diabetes, liver disease and kidney disease. We would love a large home to help burn off more calories but a small place with easy access cat shelves and tall cat trees (with steps that aren't too car apart) would also be appreciated.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted and eating 187 cal/day. Our foster dad says 4 feedings a day of 40-45 gms of high quality wet food to help keep us from trying to eat anything and everything. Our adoption fee is only $170.
