Rescue Story:

I was sadly surrendered as my owner couldn't afford my vet care, she was heartbroken. This is why it's so important to get pet insurance if you can't afford vet treatments. And why it's important to keep cats at a healthy weight as obese cats are more prone to diabetes which yes, can be expensive to treat. Hopefully my story can help ensure other cats never suffer the same fate as I.

Date of Birth: October 2011

Energy Level: Low

Size (adult): Medium

Good with Dogs? No
Probably not.
Good with Cats? No
I must be the only cat.
Good with Kids? Yes
Especially if they are gentle with me but older kids are best.

Critter Twitter:

I love people and enjoy being a lap cat. I love to have my chin and ears scratched (no body pets please). I play some but mostly I enjoy looking outside the window. I really would love to find a forever home. #sweetie

About my Behaviour:

I require a home with no other pets, please. I would LOVE a catio, even a small one that's placed on a window so I can be outside safely. I can get a bit growly but never aggressive. Just the typical old man growl/bluff.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I was diabetic but in remission now. It's important I stay at a healthy weight and on diabetic food or wet food that's high in protein, very low in carbs for the remainder of life. My adoption fee is $25 due to having diabetes which's since been in remission. It can come back in the future especially if my diet isn't adhered to. I also have a fatty deposit on my back (it is not cancerous at all) that may need attention in the future.
