Critter Twitter:

Hi, I’m Jason — your future snuggle buddy and number one fan. I’m a sweet, easygoing guy who’s happiest when I’m close to my people, soaking up all the cuddles and attention I can get. I’m pretty chill most of the time, but if you invite me to play, I’ll happily bring the silly puppy energy. I love kids and get along great with other dogs with proper introductions, especially the little ones. I’m also pretty respectful around the house—I know not to sneak into the kitchen when you're cooking (even though I might test the rules now and then) and I will go lay down on my bed when you ask me to. My favorite pastime is definitely snuggling, whether it's on the couch, bed, or right at your feet. Sometimes I get the zoomies or other sorts of silliness just to make you laugh. If you're looking for a loving, easy going fella to join your home then don't wait, hit that apply button below!

About my Behaviour:

I am house trained and crate trained. I don't love my crate but do put up with it when necessary. I really like to be with my humans so my ideal home wouldn't leave me alone for long hours and would have another dog to give me confidence. I walk nicely on a leash and have solid recall at the off-leash park. I have shown some leash reactivity to other dogs when I'm anxious, but having another confident dog really helps with that. I know how to sit and shake like a true gentleman. I do need a home with a yard and a tall fence as I can be quite agile when I want to be. To ensure we get off on the right paw, my adopters will be required to sign up for force-free training. You can find a list of great trainers at www.albertaforcefreealliance.com.

How’s my Health?

I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. I do have some allergies and receive a Cytopoint shot to help relieve my symptoms. They seem to be worse in the winter and I haven't needed the shots as regularly in the summer.
