Rescue Story:

I lived with my first human/mom since I was little and was very well-loved and cared for. Sadly, my family went through a period of growth and transition when my mom got married and had babies. My home became louder and more chaotic than I could cope with, and I began having problems using the litter box and was very stressed. Zoe's took me in when my family was experiencing a lot of upset surrounding my litter problems. I initially moved into one of Zoe's temp spaces to have some time to settle, so Zoe's could also get me to vet checked to assess my litter box needs. They found out that I have spinal arthritis, and am otherwise a healthy guy! My litter problems stopped as soon as I was in a calmer space, so I have now moved into an apartment with my foster dad while I wait for my new family.

Critter Twitter:

I am one very affectionate boy. I tend to always be nearby but not always on the lap. I actually prefer to snuggle against your face, neck or legs really. I love to give headbutts and I am an all-around great cat. #awesomecat

About my Behaviour:

I'd love a home where it's not a drama sitcom. In fact, it must be very mundane and ordinary. Quiet, very few stairs and no kids of any kind. I need a zen home that's looking for a cat who is his own cat but still happy to let you know how much you are loved.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I am not on any pain medication but putting me on Cosequin would probably be a good idea due to my arthritis. I may need gabapentin as I get older (like all senior cats) and I do need high-sided litter boxes so I can lead up against them when I use the litter box. I am a bit unstable when I walk and jumping can be an issue. Cat trees that are easy on the joints would be best for me. I do have chronic pancreatitis that can flare up when really stressed out. Easy-to-digest wet food is better for my tummy.
